Caldwell Fire Department issues firework safety reminders following Lake Lowell grass fire

CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — The Caldwell Fire Department is sent out reminders about firework safety after a grass fire started near Lake Lowell.

In a Facebook post, Caldwell Fire Department said aerial fireworks are illegal. All others should be used responsibly.

Anyone caught misusing fireworks can be liable for any resulting damages, including costs associated with extinguishing fires.
