Single vehicle crash claims the life of Caldwell man

New Plymouth, ID (CBS2) — Idaho State Police are investigating a single-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Caldwell man.

The crash occurred around 1 p.m. on Thursday on Sand Hollow Road near southeast 4th Avenue just south of New Plymouth.

An 86-year-old Caldwell man was driving north on Sand Hollow Road in his 2004 Ford F350 pickup when he crossed into the southbound lanes and off the shoulder where the pickup rolled.

The driver was not wearing his seatbelt.
